The City of Oroville Housing Development Department is seeking a qualified contractor to participate in the renovation/remodel of a single-family home located at 173 Westelle Drive in Oroville, CA. The project under this Formal Bid Write-Up is the renovation of an existing owner-occupied residence. All work per formal bid write-up is document to include: BASE BID: 1. Addressing all noted work in the attached pest report; contractors shall field verify the requested work and use the included report as a guide for establishing cost for this mandatory line item. i. Required work: 1. Installation of Building Wrap at missing locations on exterior stucco patch as needed ADD ALTS: 1. All costs associated with replacement of kitchen cabinetry (kitchen layout to be provided at job walk) 2. All costs associated with replacement of countertops 3. All costs associated with installation of new electrical and plumbing locations in kitchen 4. All costs associated with installation of new kitchen sink 5. All costs associated with new flooring installation. LVP or equivalent throughout the residence 6. All work associated with upgrading/expanding existing electrical panel or subpanel. To be determined at job walk or through bidding process 7. All work associated with the replacement of the existing plumbing system. Updating to PEX. 8. All work associated with replacement or upgrade of existing HVAC system. 9. All work associated with installation of a whole house fan 10. All work associated with repairing the existing fire place to utilize for heating 11. Any work identified on the job walk – to be verified with an addendum Other work may be identified in the madatory job walk on Thursday January 8, 2026, at 9:00AM. Contract will be between homeowner and chosen Contractor. Rehabilitation projects are not eligible for prevailing wage. Qualifications: Current and active CA Contractor's license in good standing and $1,000,000 general liability insurance naming the City of Oroville and homeowner as additionally insured. Insurance to be provided only if Contractor's bid is selected.The City of Oroville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any non-material defects in submitted bids. The work write-up and bid document shall be submitted by January 22nd, 2026, no later than 3:00PM.
