    The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive bids from a qualified vendor(s) to remarket and dispose of surplus technology. The Board shall award as a lot. All bids submitted will be legally binding for the items specified in the Vendor’s bid. Accordingly, it is highly recommended that Vendors thoroughly review and examine the surplus technology offered by BCBOE prior to bid submission. BCBOE does not affirm any oral representation by BCBOE personnel or others regarding the condition, functionality, and usability or other attributes of the items offered, should only be considered as anecdotal and therefore should not constitute a Vendor’s primary consideration in assigning value. No amendments or revaluation will be made after bid award. Access to a scheduled review of the respective lot will be conducted from June 9, 2026 to June 17, 2026, and will be provided by appointment only, based on business hours of Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Vendors interested in reviewing the inventory must contact Curt Smith (rcsmith@bcbe.org) or David Besancon (dbesancon@bcbe.org) at 251-972-6850 to schedule an appointment. The surplus technology is staged at a warehouse located at 1071 B Avenue, Loxley, Alabama 36551.
