    Sealed bids for the 2025 Abatement of Dilapidated Lakebed Structures Project, Bid No. 25-1233, will be received at the County of Lake Water Resources Department until 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 06, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in Conference Room C, located on the third floor of the Lake County Courthouse, at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. The Water Resources Department Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM. to 5:00 p.m. The office is located on the third floor of the Lake County Courthouse, at 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California 95453. Scope of work generally consists of abatement by removal of up to twelve (12) dilapidated lakebed structures and other work as stated in the General Conditions & Specifications. Structures are primarily located on properties along the Highway 20 corridor in Nice, Lucerne, and Clearlake Oaks, CA. A Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, in Lakeport, California. The pre-bid meeting is so that the contractor can assess site conditions. Meeting Location is to be held via Teams meeting (Online) or in-person in Conference Room C at the Courthouse, 3rd floor. The pre-bid meeting is so that contractors can ask questions regarding site conditions or other information relevant to the project. The preliminary construction budget is $70,000.
