Consultants will be considered for the following project: 2025 Bridge Rail Safety Project Columbia County reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. Project Description Columbia County is seeking a qualified consultant to provide Preliminary Engineering Design for the 2025 Bridge Rail Safety Project. Four (4) existing County bridges require safety upgrades to their current guardrail systems. The current proposed improvements include the removal and/or modification of existing bridge guardrail(s) to bring the traffic barrier systems up to current safety standards. Evaluation Criteria Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: Firm’s Experience Project Team Experience Project Approach Project Schedule Past Performances/References Submittal Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone, and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; and Number of employees in each firm proposed to project.
