The Housing Authority of City of Alameda (AHA) requests proposals from qualified legal firms to provide services in a range of potential legal matters. AHA is looking for firm(s) with experience in the following areas of legal services: general counsel and public sector law, housing development and management; real property laws and codes, federal subsidy programs (including but not limited to the Housing Choice and Project-Based vouchers, EHV, VASH etc. ), consultation on HR matters, state and local affordable housing programs, environmental law, fair housing and ADA law, MTW and HUD regulation, and property management law including evictions.AHA intends to award contracts to qualified counsel or firms to provide a full range, day-to-day legal services necessary for the operation of the Authority. Proposals should be cost-effective and include reasonable fees. The proposer may select to bid on a subset of the following duties. The counsel or firm selected should at a minimum be able to provide the selected services indicated in Attachment B- Form of Proposal.
