    Description

    The Walton County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for turnkey demolition and site clearance of four (4) county-owned residential structures. The selected bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits and supervision required to safely and completely demolish the vacant structures, remove and legally dispose of all debris and perform final grading and stabilization of the sites. Bids will be accepted at the Historic Walton Co. Courthouse, 111 S. Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655 until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2026. All bids should be marked Bid #2026-04 Demolition and Site Clearance of County-Owned Residential Structures. Bids submitted after the time due will not be accepted. Bidding documents may be obtained via email to rhonda.hawk@co.walton.ga.us or gretchen.thurmond@co.walton.ga.us. All work must be completed by Friday, June 19, 2026. Site visits are mandatory, as one or more of the locations may be difficult to locate. Site visits will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026. The visits will start at 3910 Anglin Road, Loganville, GA. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman¿s Compensation Insurance will be required with the Walton County Board of Commissioners named as additional insured. Bidders must submit with the bid a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. This form must be notarized. Walton County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the proposal based on the highest and best interest of Walton County.
