Scope: The City of Columbus Department of Building and Zoning Services (hereinafter “City”) is seeking a tire disposal services contractor (hereinafter “Contractor”) to receive and dispose of tires and wheels as needed from City-approved vendors and employees (hereinafter “vendors”). The City estimates the disposal of 2,000 tires with this agreement, with a majority of these being car and light truck tires. The City contracts annually for tire and wheel disposal resulting from the abatement of specifically designated, privately owned properties where the City determined it was necessary to take action pursuant to Columbus City Code Section 701.19. The awarded vendor will accept all tires and wheels and dispose of them in accordance with all applicable codes. The City will enter into one contract for this service, which will run from approximately May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027 in the amount of $4,000.00. Interested bidders shall respond to this solicitation by submitting a bid through the City of Columbus’ Vendor Services Portal. For additional information concerning this bid, including procedures for obtaining a copy of the bid document(s) and how to submit a proposal, you must go to the City of Columbus Vendor Services web page (http://vendorservices.columbus.gov) and view this bid number in the open solicitations listing. Specification Questions: Questions regarding this bid must be submitted on the Vendor Services portal by 10:00 am Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. Responses will be posted on the RFQ on Vendor Services no later than Friday, March 27th, 2026 at 10:00 am. Pre-Bid Facility Walk-Through: A pre-bid walk-through will not be held for this procurement effort. Line 10 – enter $0 as your bid price and scan as an attachment on Line 10 the documents listed in Section 5. These scanned documents are your bid and will be included in the contract that will be provided by the City.
