LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Ashtabula County Engineer on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners at the County Engineer’s Office, 186 East Satin St., Jefferson, Ohio 44047 until 10:30 A.M. on March 20, 2026 at which time said bids will be opened and publicly read to furnish 166,000 gallons CMS-2 and 92,000 gallons CRS-2 for use on county highways for the Ashtabula County Engineer’s Department in accordance with the specifications on file in the Engineer’s Office on Quotation #327. Any supplemental information desired by the Bidder may be obtained at the Ashtabula County Engineer’s Office, 186 East Satin St., Jefferson, Ohio 44047 (440-576-3707). Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company submitting a bid and shall be accompanied by a bond or a certified check, cashiers check or money order drawn on a solvent bank or savings and loan association in the amount of 5% of the total bid as security that if a bid is accepted delivery is assured. Bidders are advised that HB 308 rules apply. Contractors or suppliers shall furnish MSDS sheets for any hazardous substance brought onto county property or a county job site. Each bid must be in a sealed envelope and the outside thereof properly marked with the Quotation Number, Date and Time of the bid opening. The Notice to Bidders and/or the specifications may be obtained via the internet at www.ashtabulacounty.us/bids The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any and all informalities and the right to reject any and all bids.
