    Description

    The work to be completed consists of, generally, the sawcutting, removal and replacement of sidewalk, curb and gutter and driveway approaches and curb ramps at various locations throughout the City of Watsonville, California. Contractor will be notified of the work to be accomplished, and it will be required that it be completed within thirty (30) working days of the notice. Section 5-1.13, “Subcontracting”, of the State Standard Specifications regarding the maximum use of subcontractors shall apply. The locations and square footage will be identified as deficiencies and are reported to the City. The City shall issue work orders for locations and scope of work for each location. The contractor shall be responsible at their own expense for the hauling and disposal of all pavement, concrete, brick, dirt and other excavated material. Contractor shall dispose of this material at the City of Watsonville facility; contact customer service, at (831) 768-3133 to make arrangements for disposal. Work hours to be Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM not including City holidays.
