All repair work must be completed during this time frame. • Work to be performed while Denton ISD is out for summer break. • Contractor responsible for traffic control plan and implementation/maintenance. • Contractor responsible for re-establishment of pavement markings, buttons and signage. • Construction staking by contractor but Engineer will provide control. • Contractor to specify third party independent construction material testing contractor/lab to be used. • All construction material testing to be provided by Contractor. • All main lane parallel longitudinal butt joints to be doweled and provided with a key-way. • Water meter deposit necessary ($1,000) and water usage must be logged and reported. Project water use will be no charge. • Concrete repairs to restore positive drainage where needed. • All sidewalks to have a 1” fall between the sidewalk and back of curb where a driveway is not present. • Contractor to protect mailboxes during all points of construction. • Contractor to contact homeowners 3 business days prior to eliminating access to their driveway • For limits of pavement replacement, existing subgrade densities to be checked and, if suitable and stable, re-used without re-work. If failures or voids observed existing material to be removed and replaced with compacted/rolled flexbase to meet line, grade and density. • Contractor shall be responsible for SWPPP.SLED stands for State, Local, and Education.
