    Description

The attached documents describe the 2026 program under which The University of Texas System (UT System) plans to accredit qualifying group purchasing organizations (GPOs) (including Texas State Agencies performing GPO functions) that are identified as potential suppliers of GPO services to UT System or its institutions. Organizations that fail to secure or maintain this accreditation, or that decline to participate in the accreditation process, will not be used by UT System or its institutions for GPO services. Before being allowed to apply for accreditation, an applicant must secure, from one or more chief procurement officers of UT System institutions, a nomination to the UT System Office of Collaborative Business Services for accreditation, supported by information indicating that the nominee meets the required “value component test,” as detailed in the posted Operating Procedures. The deadline for submission of related accreditation application materials is 3 pm Austin time on August 3, 2026.
