    Invitation for Bids for Parkwood Drive Stormwater Improvement Project for Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority 8763 Hospital Drive Douglasville, Georgia 30134 June 17, 2026 IFB # 323 The Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Parkwood Drive Stormwater Improvement Project (the ¿Project¿), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the bidder or contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be ¿turnkey¿ and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel. The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 600 linear feet (LF) of 18-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP), approximately 78 LF of 24-inch CMP, 100 LF of existing water line, 128 LF of concrete curb and gutter, 101 LF of sidewalk, one (1) concrete flume, four (4) catch basins, existing fencing, asphalt pavement, and driveway concrete. The Project includes installation of approximately 610 LF of 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), 247 LF of 24-inch RCP, 20 LF of 30-inch RCP, 114 LF of 8-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) in 16-inch steel casing, and associated road restoration. Installation of one (1) headwall (GDOT STD. 1001-B), five (5) junction boxes (GDOT STD. 1011-A), one (1) single wing catch basin, five (5) double wing catch basins (GDOT STD. 1033D and 1034D), 24-inch concrete vertical curb and gutter, fencing, driveway concrete, and sidewalk is also included. The Project site is located within Douglas County. Plans for the Parkwood Drive Stormwater Improvement Project have been prepared by RINDT, Inc., Jason Cousineau, P.E.
