    Description

    The project includes the following work locations: 
    Location No. 1 - Alley Maintenance: Approximately 375 feet of alley reconstruction will be performed providing a PPC pavement on an aggregate subbase. 
    Location No. 2 - Alley Maintenance: Approximately 640 feet of alley reconstruction will be performed providing a PCC pavement on an aggregate subbase. 
    Location No. 3 - Sidewalk and Ramp Repairs: ADA accessible ramps will be placed at nineteen locations along White Street, Clark Street and Union Street. Deteriorated mid-block sidewalk panels will be replaced along White Street from Prospect Avenue to State Street.

    Location No. 4 - Fire Station No. 1 Parking Lot Reconstruction: The east parking lot area will be reconstructed using an aggregate base with a hot-mix asphalt overlay. The curb & gutter, sidewalks and the driveway pavement will also be removed and replaced.
    Location No. 5 - Prospect Avenue Patching: Deteriorated pavement and curb & gutter will be removed and replaced along Prospect Avenue from John Street to Springfield Avenue. Sidewalk ramps will be removed and replaced as ADA accessible at the northeast and southwest corners of Prospect Avenue and Healey Street intersection. 
    Location No. 6 - Columbia Street and Walnut Street Traffic Signal Installation: The improvements will upgrade the sidewalk, construct ADA compliant sidewalk ramps, and construct curb bump outs on all corners. Traffic signals will be installed and the lighting upgraded at the intersection. 
    Location No. 7 - Speed Feedback Signs: Speed radar feedback LED display signs will be furnished and installed at school zones along University Avenue near Dr. Howard Elementary, University Avenue near Central High School, Kirby Avenue near International Prep Academy, Prospect Avenue near Bottenfield Elementary, Church Street near Dr. Howard Elementary, Prospect Avenue near South Side Elementary, and Prospect Avenue near Franklin Middle School. 
    Location No. 8 - Traffic Signal Upgrades: 
    New video detection systems shall be installed at the intersections of Bloomington Road & Home Depot Entrance, and Marketview Drive & Moreland Boulevard. 
    Controller cabinets and uninterruptible power supplies will be replaced at the intersections of Bloomington Road & Hagan Street, Bloomington Road & Home Depot Entrance, and Marketview Drive & Moreland Boulevard.

Payment will be in cash, bank draft or money order payable to ESCA Consultants, Inc. and payments will not be refunded. A copy of the Contractor's IDOT Certificate of Eligibility is required to obtain the bid documents.
