    Description

    The Ocean County Board of Commissioners announces the availability of up to $40,000 in operating assistance funding through the Ocean County Transportation Assistance Program to support transportation services for senior citizens and/or individuals with disabilities in Ocean County.

    Funding is available on a competitive basis to eligible nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations, including those recognized as 501(c)(3) organizations by the Internal Revenue Service, that provide or propose to provide transportation services benefiting these populations. Participation in the program is not exclusive, and all eligible nonprofit applicants are encouraged to apply. The program is supported in part by funding received through NJ TRANSIT as a component of the County’s allocation under the Senior Citizen & Disabled Resident Transportation Assistance Program (SCDRTAP).
