The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Contract A • Base Bid: Over 59,900 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs, over 20,200 square yards of asphalt reconstruction, spot and continuous curb replacement, curb ramp replacement and other related work • Additional Bid 1: Citywide pavement striping. • Additional Bid 2: Over 2,800 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs and over 8,100 square feet of shared-use path upgrades and installation. • Additional Bid 3: Over 2,100 square yards of asphalt roadway removal and replacement with concrete pavement, continuous curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 4: Over 16,000 square feet of sidewalk removal and replacement, over 3,700 square feet of drive approach removal and replacement, curb ramp replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 5: Over 1,600 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot full depth repairs and over 2,100 square feet of shared-use path upgrades and other related work. • Additional Bid 6: Over 7,800 square yards of asphalt resurfacing, spot curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 7: Over 13,900 square yards of asphalt resurfacing, spot curb replacement and other related work. Contract B • Base Bid: Street crack sealing with routing and other related work. The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications for the various bids are: Contract A Base Bid (Street Maintenance): $4,054,000 Additional Bid 1 (City Striping): $70,000 Additional Bid 2 (Trail Maintenance): $299,000 Additional Bid 3 (Additional Street Maintenance): $653,000 Additional Bid 4 (2026 Sidewalk Program): $642,000 Additional Bid 5 (Additional Trail Maintenance): $112,000 Additional Bid 6 (Hoover Road): $485,000 Additional Bid 7 (Buckeye Parkway): $485,000 Contract B Base Bid (Crack Seal & Routing): $68,000 This project includes two Contracts, Contract A and Contract B. Bidders are not required to bid both Contract A and Contract B. However, those submitting bids for Contract A must submit bids for the Base Bid and all Additional Bids in order to be considered. Hard copies of the Contract Documents and Specifications will not be provided. Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained from Bid Express only and at costs associated with the Bid Express service fee schedule (https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/40946/home?agency=true). Payment for these items will not be refunded. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same and shall be accompanied by a bond meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and written on the form included with the Contract Documents. Each Bidder must ensure that no employees and applicants for employment are discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, Vietnam Era nor disabled veterans, or National origin. Schedule: The work shall commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. The work shall be completed within one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days for Contract A, one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days for Contract B from the City’s issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Contract.
