Questions and requests for information must be submitted through the Public Purchase bid site. Responses to questions and requests for information will be posted on the bid site. Questions and Requests for Information must be submitted by 5:00 P.M. seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening. GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION The location of the work is the Chico Regional Airport, 150 Airpark Blvd, Chico CA 95973. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, insurance, and services to perform the Work generally described below and in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract. The Work, in general, consists of Schedule I Rehabilitation of Taxiway R; Rehabilitate Airline Air Cargo Apron at Chico Regional Airport. A portion of one taxiway and a portion of the airport's apron will be rehabilitated. Cracking and pavement surface will be treated. The project includes pavement marking on the runway and portions of the taxiway. The Contract period to complete the Work shall be twenty five (25) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with the possibility of extension. Estimated Construction Cost: $550,000 Liquidated Damages: $3,400 per calendar day FEDERAL GRANT CONTINGENCY; AWARD OF CONTRACT Funding is anticipated to be provided in part by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), AIP Grant No. 3-06-0041-x00-2026. The award of this project is contingent upon a grant offer from the FAA.
