    Description

    NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Go to thomasville.org/departments/purchasing or GPR for the complete & unabbreviated Invitation to Bid. Below is an abbreviated version. Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2026 WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS project will be received until 2:00 PM local time on July 16, 2026, at the City Engineer¿s Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. The Prime Bidder and sub-contractors will be properly licensed and will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. This project includes preforming sanitary sewer rehabilitation with cured in place lining (CIPP) and rehabilitated sanitary sewer manholes with sprayed in lining and performing other necessary and appurtenant work to complete the wastewater improvements as otherwise described, enumerated and shown in these specifications and referenced plans. A complete set of plans, specs, & bid documents may be viewed at the City Engineer¿s Office (see address above). Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked ¿2026 WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENTS¿ & must be delivered before the time specified. The City of Thomasville, GA reserves the right to reject any & all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, &/or to award the contract in the best interest of the City. CITY OF THOMASVILLE M.
