The entire project is executed within a continuously operating, mission-critical data center environment. Every trade is required to develop a Method of Procedure (MOP) before performing any work, and the Owner may require after-hours or weekend scheduling for any work that risks disruption to existing systems. Construction cost is estimated at: $450,000.00 The Request for Proposals (RFP) documents, including the selection requirements and the selection schedule, will be available at 9:00 AM on March 27, 2026 on the BidNet Direct website. All prime contractors wishing to submit on this project must attend this meeting. The Management Plan and Statement of Qualifications must be submitted to U Facilities via the BidNet Direct website no later than 2:00 PM on April 30, 2026. Submittals received after the specified time will not be accepted. The Cost Proposal, Bid Bond, and Value Engineering Proposals are to be submitted to U Facilities via the BidNet Direct website no later than 2:00 PM on April 30, 2026. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that delivery to U Facilities of all submittals is made by the deadlines established by the Project Schedule. The contractor shall comply with and require all of its subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the University of Utah on the AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form, or equivalent, shall accompany the bid submitted to U Facilities via the BidNet Direct website.
