The City of Oroville Housing Development Department is seeking a qualified contractor to particiapte in the renovation.remodel of a single-family home located at 2470 Baldwin Avenue in Oroville, CA. The project under this Formal Bid Write-Uo is the renovation of an existing owner-occupied residence. All work per formal bid write-up document to include: BASE BID: Addressing all noted work in the attached pest report: contractors shall field verify the requested work and use the included report as a guide for establishing cost for this mandatory line item. Required work: 1. Fungus damage at roof members 2. Fungus damage at eaves (multiple locations) 3. Fungus damage at interior window sill 4. Plumbing leaks at tubn faucet and drain ADD ALTS: 1. All costs associated with bathroom upgrad: inert or tile/ADA upgrades/Glass enclosure 2. All costs asociated with replacement of roof 3. All costs associated with gutter and downspout installation 4. All costs associated with two exterior ADA ramps and rails 5. All costs associated with adjustment of threshold at exterior side location 6. Any work identified on the job walk - to be verified with an addendum Other work may be idetified in the mandatory job walk on Thursday January 29, 2026, at 9:00am. Contract will be between homeowner and chosen Contractor. Rehabilitation projects are not eligible for prevailing wage. Qualifications: Current and active CA Contractor's license in good standing and $1,000,000 general liability insurance naming the City of Oroville and homeowner as additionally insured. Insurance to be provided only if Contractor's bid is selceted. The City of Oroville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any non-material defects in submitted bids. The work write-up and bid document shall be submitted by February 12, 2026, no later than 2:00pm.
