Galveston County is seeking a vendor to provide the following vehicles: two (2) secure transport vans for the Galveston County Sheriff Office and one (1) passenger transport van and one (1) shuttle bus for Senior Services. All vehicles shall be 2025 or newer and shall include all standard equipment for the model in addition to the following equipment mentioned in Section E, Specifications.The following specifications are the minimum acceptable requirements for the County:Galveston County Sherriff Office • One (1) secure transport van: minimum twelve (12) passengers, or thirteen (13) passengers (preferred) with restraints, window and partition cages. • One (1) secure transport van: minimum one (1) or maximum two (2) wheel chair positions with ADA wheel chair lift, minimum six (6) passenger seats with restraints, window and partition cages.Senior Services • One (1) passenger transport van: minimum two (2) wheel chair positions at the front of the van with six to eight (6-8) passenger seats in the rear of the van and a wheel chair ramp installed on the passenger side. • One (1) shuttle bus: twelve to fifteen (12-15) passenger van with two-wheel chair positions, bifold passenger door and rear passenger side wheelchair lift.Bidders submitting a responsive bid acknowledge that, if awarded, they agree to supply additional units of the same specifications at the same price, upon receipt of a valid Galveston County Purchase Order, during Fiscal Year 2026 (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026).
