The Pasadena Unified School District (“District”) issues this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (“RFQ/P") to invite the submission of Responses, from qualified design-build entities (“DBEs” or Firm(s)”) to perform design-build services as authorized by Education Code section 17250.60, et seq., for the design-build services required for the construction Employee Housing Project (“Project”). All prospective design-build entities that seek to contract with the District to perform the Project must respond to this RFQ/P. The Project construction cost is estimated to be between $82M and $85M.

Community Workforce Agreement. All prospective design-build entities will be required to comply with all the requirements in the Community Workforce Agreement (“CWA”) between the District and the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council. Design-build entities shall ensure that it and its Subcontractors comply with all of the provisions of the CWA.
