    Description

    The Procurement Division for the Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) will receive Bids from qualified and interested Bidders for the David Simmons Jr. Community Dock Repairs project. The project includes an underwater inspection of the existing dock piles and submerged structural components, removal and replacement of deteriorated timber framing and associated structural members, and installation of pile protection in accordance with the engineered drawings. In general, the Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, repairs to the community dock by removing and replacing damaged structural components, reusing existing decking where practicable, and performing related hardware and connection repairs. Bid alternates are included for full removal and replacement of the existing decking using different material options as well as a remediation method. All work shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
