General work description:
NBU anticipates the following items will be included in the Project scope of work: (i) construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet (“LF”) of 6-inch to 8-inch water main and approximately 2,700 LF of 6-inch to 8-inch wastewater main along Simon Avenue, Seele Street, Samuels Avenue, Seele Alley, along a drainage channel between Braddock Avenue and Hill Avenue, and along the IH 35 Northbound Frontage Road at the FM 725 intersection; (ii) removal or abandonment of existing water mains and existing wastewater manholes and mains; (iii) stormwater pollution prevention; (iv) traffic control; (v) site restoration; and (vi) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. The Project will be designed and constructed so as to meet all applicable federal, state, and local accessibility standards.
The New Braunfels Utilities is accepting electronic bid submissions. Bidders shall create a FREE account with OpenGov Procurement by signing up at https://procurement.opengov.com/signup. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
