The intent of this solicitation is to obtain proposals for legal services of qualified professionals with extensive experience in the collection of delinquent taxes and/or municipal court debts and accounts receivables.The City of Arlington desires to request proposals that will result in two professional services contracts that capture the highest professional standards to constantly improve the collection of delinquent property taxes and municipal court receivables and provide other collection legal services as requested by the contract administrators. The collection services under both contracts will be provided at no cost to the City. Compensation to the successful proposers (or “Contractors”) will be the additional collection percent increment allowed in accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code and the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this RFP electronically. If submitting a paper proposal, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late proposals will not be accepted.The City of Arlington exclusively uses Euna Procurement for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations. The receipt of solicitations through any other means may result in your receipt of incomplete specifications and/or addendums which could ultimately render your bid/proposal non-compliant. The City of Arlington accepts no responsibility for the receipt and/or notification of solicitations through any other means.
