    Description

    SF Bay Ferry is in the process of introducing battery electric vessels to its existing fleet of high-speed ferries. Ferries will service a new terminal at the Mission Bay Ferry Landing. The new terminal requires a Shore Power and Anchoring System consisting of a Modular Float system and specialized equipment for charging the electric vessels. This project includes the final engineering and design, Modular Float selection, fabrication, assembly, delivery, and commissioning of this Float system.A contract awarded in connection with this RFP will be financed in part with federal funds. The federal requirements applicable to this RFP and any associated contract, including the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation requirements, are included in Attachments D, F, G, H, and J of this RFP Part D. WETA is aware of the US Department of Transportation's (US DOT) September 30, 2025, Interim Final Rule (Interim Final Rule) regarding the DBE Program. The DBE requirements set forth in this RFP are intended to comply with that Interim Final Rule
