NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pasadena Unified School District (“District”) of Los Angeles County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board (“Board”) will receive bids from contractors holding a “A with HAZ” California Contractors license on the following: EMERGENCY Bid #26-25/26 – Soil Remediation and Site Restoration at Eleven (11) Sites per bid specifications. The scope of work is estimated to be between $6,800,000 to $7,500,000 and includes: Soil Remediation and Site Restoration at Eleven (11) Sites including Tree removal and replacement and new irrigation connections with other improvements as outlined in the bidding documents.

The Project is subject to a Community Workforce Agreement. Bidder will be required to comply with all the requirements in the Community Workforce Agreement (“CWA”) between the District and the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council. Bidder shall ensure that it and its Subcontractors comply with all of the provisions of the CWA included within the bidding documents.

Mandatory Job Walk: 4/29/26 and 4/30/26 starting at 9:00 AM - Attendance on both days and at all sites is mandatory. Any attendee who does not attend both days and all sites will be removed from the sign-in sheet and deemed non-responsive and ineligible to submit a bid.

Job Walk location: Cleveland Elementary School located at: 524 Palisade Street, Pasadena, CA 91103 – All Attending Contractors MUST meet the District representatives at the campus main entrance. Bidders will be escorted onto the campus from that location. Tardiness or failure to attend the site walk will render any bid submitted by a non-attendee non-responsive. A listing of all additional job walk locations will be provided to attendees at the initial job walk.
