    Sealed electronic bids for the removal of scrap tires, scrap tire materials, and other solid wastes located within, but not limited to, the below referenced site will be received through the Alabama Buys State Purchasing System until 5:00 pm local time, Monday, February 16, 2026. 264 County Road 585, Lauderdale County, Alabama (approximate latitude 34.816575 and longitude -87.389408) No mandatory onsite meeting will be held for this project. All interested contractors are expected to perform their own onsite inspection before submitting a bid for this project. For additional information regarding the site, please contact Mike Cruise at (334) 271-7938 or mcruise@adem.alabama.gov. The department is prepared to pay a maximum of $20,000 for this project. Bids under $25,000 will be opened, evaluated, and awarded in the Alabama Buys State Purchasing System by the Removals and Response Unit on , at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Bids submitted for over $25,000 will be referred to and evaluated by the State of Alabama Division of Purchasing to be placed under contract.
