    TOWN OF CHRISTIANSBURG CHRISTIANSBURG, VIRGINIA 2026 ANNUAL PAVING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of 2026 ANNUAL PAVING will be received by THE TOWN OF CHRISTIANSBURG at the office of the PROCUREMENT OFFICER, at 100 East Main St, Christiansburg, VA until 3:00 PM local time on April 28, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of milling, paving, and striping to current applicable standards and specifications. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Bidding Documents are available from the project contact by request. The project contacts is Joshua Middleton (540) 382-6120; jmiddleton@christiansburg.org. Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents on Monday through Fridays between the hours of 9:00am-4:30pm and may obtain copies of the bidding documents at Christiansburg Town Hall, 100 East Main St, Christiansburg, VA. If bids are hand delivered or mailed, they must be delivered to the Town of Christiansburg Purchasing Office, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. It is the bidder’s responsibility to confirm that all bids are received by the Town’s Procurement Officer prior to the time stated above. Sealed bids should be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked, “Bid Response for IFB 26500022, 2026 Annual Paving” and addressed to Tara Vance, Procurement Officer. The bidder’s name should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. To submit an online bid through eVA, refer to the online bidding instructions available at the following link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSxcAkOekW0. In order to submit an online bid through eVA the Bidder should be a registered vendor in eVA. The Town is not responsible for establishing vendors in eVA. Bidders are advised that the process of becoming an established vendor in eVA may take several days. If the Bidder encounters any issues submitting an online bid through eVA, the Bidder should contact eVA Customer Care for assistance. **Note: When uploading files through eVA, no single file can be larger than 60 MB** Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent (%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to bidders.
