    General work description: The intent of this solicitation is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm for providing stop loss insurance to pay eligible medical claims that exceed a “cap” for current employees and retirees (under the age of 65). Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) will be utilizing the services of Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) East (formerly Trion Group) to assist with this RFP.

      Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check, or bid bond, in the amount of NO VALUE of the total bid price, payable to Frederick County Public Schools, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
