    Description

    The scope of the procurement encompasses soliciting offerors to secure statewide community-based programing, juvenile justice, and support services that focus on the following:• Provide services for youth who are at high-risk and who are in the Juvenile Justice system. • Improve the availability of youth and family services for high-risk youth and families in need of appropriate services. • Maintain the continuity of community engagement and support for high-risk youth programming and services for juvenile justice involved youth.Project examples include services and programming that may include but not limited to the individual, family and group counseling; direct services that address anger management, domestic violence, sex offender treatment, human trafficking, gun violence and substance abuse/prevention, high risk youth/peer mentoring, parenting; and support services for individuals and their families to achieve successful outcomes. Innovative approaches are highly recommended and valued.For CYFD “innovation” means the creation, development and implementation of a new process or service with the aim of improving efficiency, effectiveness, or competitive advantage. Innovation may apply to programs, processes, and services. CYFD further values innovative programs and projects that are unique in design or delivery to the State, city, or geographic area, as well as services that are not currently available within the targeted service area. Special preference and additional consideration to Offerors that propose to build capacity in rural or frontier areas of New Mexico.This procurement may result in multiple awards between two parties; the procurement may ONLY be used by those two parties exclusively. The resulting contracts may have a term of up to three (3) years in whatever increments best fit the needs of CYFD.This RFP may result in multiple awards.Funding is subject to current and future appropriations from the New Mexico legislature and other funding sources for the period of this RFP. No guarantee is made or implied by the State of New Mexico or CYFD that the amount allocated to this RFP will result in multiple contracts equal to that amount.
