    Scope of Work

    The intent of the Contract is to secure the services of a qualified environmental monitoring consultant capable of performing systematic, defensible, and regulator-acceptable monitoring and reporting of vegetative communities, habitat conditions, and permit compliance status across multiple County sites. Services shall support the County’s ongoing responsibilities under St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Memoranda of Agreement, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permits, and St. Johns County Land Management Plans. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, data collection instruments, analysis, documentation, and reporting necessary to perform Countywide Monitoring and Reporting Services for St. Johns County Regional Offsite Mitigation Areas (ROMAs), as authorized under the awarded Contract.

    All services shall be performed in full compliance with St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs); U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permits and mitigation instruments; St. Johns County Land Management Plans; approved mitigation monitoring methodologies; and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.

    Services shall be provided for all existing County-owned ROMAs and conservation lands identified by the County, including but not limited to: i) Turnbull Creek ROMA – 101 E Positano Ave, St Augustine, FL 32092 ii) Moses Creek ROMA – Golf Course Trail, St. Augustine, FL 32086 iii) McCullough Creek ROMA – 2864 CR 13 S. Elkton, FL 32033 iv) Nocatee Preserve – 245 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32081 v) Deep Creek ROMA - 7756 Hub Bailey Rd., Hastings, FL 32145. vi) Any other County-owned parks or conservation areas within St. Johns County, Florida.
