Anne Arundel County Public Schools is seeking comprehensive materials for teaching elementary (K-5) science classes and a STEM enrichment class that are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Three-Dimensional Learning, incorporating Science and Engineering Practices (SEP)s, Crosscutting Concepts (CCC)s, Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCI)s and corresponding Performance Expectations (PE)s into each unit. This program should provide a student-centered learning approach that is grounded in sensemaking and culturally responsive pedagogy. We are seeking this program to have a full complement of universally designed learning opportunities as well as necessary accessibility for multilingual and special education learners. The program should be inclusive of digital, print, and hands-on investigation materials. Anne Arundel County Public Schools science instruction is delivered in 90 days with 30 minute modules for K-3 and 50-minute modules for Grade 4/5. Materials must be able to be delivered with integrity to the program within these time constraints.
