The path will be designed to meet applicable accessibility standards and will improve connectivity between residential neighborhoods, schools, parks, commercial areas, and other community destinations along the corridor. Bidders are advised to pay close attention to the specific details in the Supplemental Specifications and Pay Item Descriptions. Item descriptions detail all that is included with each pay item as well as pay limits for certain items. During construction, maintenance of traffic and access to residences will be major concerns for the City, Contractor, and adjacent property owners. This project is funded by City of Findlay Capital Improvement Funds as well as Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Grants. This is a federally funded program, and therefore SPECIAL ATTENTION MUST BE GIVEN to all the requirements, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon Wages, Section 3 requirements, Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements, various insurance requirements, and various equal opportunity provisions.
