This grant aims to address the high demand for skilled construction workers in Texas by providing employment readiness training focused on industry relevant skills. The program will award grants to one or more eligible NCCER Accredited Training Sponsors located in Urban Centers. Grantees will provide employment readiness training, introducing participants to fundamental construction trade skills through modular curriculum. An Eligible Applicant under this RFA must meet the following requirement: 1) is exempt from Federal Income Tax. 2) has a current ATS or ATEF accreditation with NCCER.
