The planned work will stabilize the channel to lessen flooding hazards in rural areas.Proposals and all required documents must be submitted online to the DFS Procurement Portal (hereinafter “DFS Portal” or “Portal”) at dfs.bonfirehub.com no later than June 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM, local time (EST).Proposals will be opened publicly prior to the award meeting on June 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Judge Executive’s Office.Award is set to occur at a special call of the Letcher County Fiscal Court, 156 Main St STE 107, Whitesburg, KY 41858 on June 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST.WORK MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN: July 17, 2026 A $1,000/ DAY PENALTY WILL BE APPLIED IF CONTRACTOR FAILS TO COMPLETE WORK BY THE DEADLINE.
