The work for this project also involves shaping the channel. The planned work will stabilize the rail wall along the channel to lessen flooding hazards in rural areas. Work will consist of moving and adding material along the channel.Proposers are encouraged to attend a Pre-Proposal Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST at the Letcher County Fiscal Court, 156 Main St STE 107, Whitesburg, KY 41858Proposals and all required documents must be submitted online to the DFS Procurement Portal (hereinafter “DFS Portal” or “Portal”) at dfs.bonfirehub.com no later than February 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM, local time (EST). Award is set to occur at the Letcher County Fiscal Court, 156 Main St STE 107, Whitesburg, KY 41858 on Monday, February 16, 2026.Addenda regarding this RFP will be posted to the DFS Portal at dfs.bonfirehub.com.
