Quotation Responses may be submitted online through the bid posted on Public Purchase.com, or Sealed Bids delivered to: Kern County Purchasing Attn. Cynthia Nicholson 1115 Truxtun Avenue Bakersfield, CA 93301 before 11:00:00 a.m., PST on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The Quotation Request # 3000-24-102312, "6 Trash Wheel Loaders", must appear on the outside of the envelope. Questions asked before noon on 3/25/26, will be answered, all others we will doo our best to answer, but it is not guaranteed. If you are submitting online through Public Purchase, it is the Vendor's responsibility to make sure the required completed Comply/Exception Specification Sheet and completed Quotation Request form are uploaded and returned with your online response. Faxed, or direct emailed responses are not allowed. EQUIVALENT: It is the intention of the specifications contained in the bid to procure specified equipment, or acceptable equal items. If bidding an equivalent item, specifications, illustrations and other substatiating documentation, shall be submitted with the bid. The Purchasing Agent, in his/her sole discretion, shall determine whether any equivalent items included in a Vendor's bid satisfactorily comply with the bid specifications. Vendors are encouraged to contact the Purchasing Agent if they have any questions about the specifications or any products identified therein. Unless otherwise noted, if you enter pricing you are stating that you meet all of the minimum specifications and the Comply & Exception Specification Sheet must be completed and returned verifying specific specifications. DELIVERY: Delivery shall be to 5438 Victor Street, Bakersfield, CA 93308. The Vendor shall off load the equipment, it shall be serviced and ready for use, will all applicable manuals, CA Vehicle Registration paperwork and documentation. The Vendor shall go over all of the functions of the equipment with a testing demonstration, to ensure proper use and that the equipment is working properly. The County desires this equipment as quickly as possible. We are requesting a 30 Day lead time delivery. We will review all responses, so submit your best priced unit and quickest delivery, as the award will be based on both factors. THE QUOTATION REQUEST FORM AND THE COMPLY EXCEPTION SHEETS MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED WITH YOUR RESPONSE !!
