Mr. Stevenson can be contacted at Craig.Stevenson@broadcast.ohio.gov or by phone at (614) 485-6021 between 8 am and 12 noon, Monday through Friday. Meetings will be scheduled between 8 am and 12 noon, Monday through Friday between April 20, 2026, and May 1, 2026. BEMC staff will explain our expectations regarding the project; BEMC staff will review the layout of the satellite field and property; Vendors will be offered opportunity to discuss their experience in the removal and disposal of 7-meter or larger satellite antennas; Vendors with previous experience installing or dismantling a satellite antenna located at 2470 North Star Road, Columbus Ohio are considered to have met this requirement. Submission of two references able to verify vendor’s experience in the safe removal and disposal of a 7-meter or larger Earth station satellite antenna. References will be contacted to verify vendor’s experience. To assist in this process, vendors should notify references that BEMC staff will be contacting them. Submission of proof of insurance. Submission of a written plan detailing the timeline for removal, equipment to be used, and the process for the removal and disposal of the satellite antenna. Submission of quote detailing total cost of the project. Vendors failing to meet all of the requirements will not be considered in the evaluation of bids.
