    Description

    The work and services which may be required under this Agreement encompass a wide range of planning, inspection and design engineering efforts with the possibility of several different types of projects with short completion schedules being assigned concurrently. The primary purpose of this contract will be providing planning and inspection services for the Allegheny County In-House Paving Program which includes the design of milling, paving, base repair, guiderail improvements and drainage improvements. Additional tasks include but are not limited to: roadway planning and design, preparing cost estimates, placing PA One Calls, parking lot designs, Highway Occupancy Permit Inspection, scheduling, investigating and determining utility involvement and developing traffic control plans.
