8270 - RFQ 8270 - 12 - DUMP TRUCK BODIES

The following Request for Quote is for the purchase of Twelve (12) – Dump Truck Bodies for Freightliner 114SD Chassis by the Kansas Turnpike Authority. The KTA reserves the right to waive technicalities under these specifications. All makes, models and minimum specifications are provided in the Equipment Specification Sheet. Makes or Models that are not specifically listed on the Equipment Specification Sheet must be pre-approved by the KTA Procurement Team. The dump bodies shall be of current 2027/2028 model, including all standard features whether called for in this RFQ packet or not, made under standard production by the manufacturer, and of which parts are stocked by the vendor. Pre-Bid meetings can be scheduled prior to June 1st.

• Commodity Codes: UNSPSC 25101601 Dump trucks UNSPSC 25181604 Cargo truck body: The main part of the vehicle which is mounted on the chassis frame and directly linked to the suspension. UNSPSC 25181605 Dump truck body: The main part of the vehicle which is mounted on the chassis frame and directly linked to the suspension. Contains a motor driven hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower dumper.
