The City of Denton would like to inform you of a subcontractor bidding opportunity currently advertising for the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center Expansion Project. On behalf of the City, and serving as the CMAR for the project, Steele & Freeman, Inc., is seeking proposals for GMP 1 for the following packages: • Structural Steel • Appliances • Commissioning of MEP & Security Systems • Fire Alarm System • Access Control and Video Surveillance • Earthwork Electronic Sealed Proposals will be received by Steele & Freeman, Inc., via www.BuildingConnected.com (electronically sealed submission), or in the offices of the Construction Manager, Steele & Freeman, Inc.; 1301 Lawson Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131, prior to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Prospective subcontractors and suppliers may obtain copies of the GMP-1 drawings, specifications, and bidding documents by requesting access to the Building Connected or by downloading from Steele & Freeman, Inc., plan room. Any sealed bids that are delivered to the Steele & Freeman office, need to be in a sealed envelope, and will be date/time stamped upon arrival. NOTE THAT 2:00 P.M. IS A HARD CUT-OFF, AND BUILDING CONNECTED WILL NOT ALLOW RECEIPT OF BIDS AFTER THAT TIME. IN ADDITION, ANY SEALED BIDS TIME STAMPED OR DELIVERED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE OPENED, OR ACCEPTED.
