    The City of Greeley is seeking proposals for a 911 Emergency Medical Service (EMS) transport provider to service the Greeley Fire Department Response Area. The Greeley Fire Response area is over 64.5 square miles that is 85% urban and 15% rural. The Greeley Fire Department Response Area includes the City of Greeley and the Western Hills Fire Protection District (hereinafter referred to as the “Response Area”). Greeley Fire Department operates seven fully staffed fire stations providing traditional fire protection services; EMS at the advanced life support level; fire inspection and code enforcement; hazmat; dive; trench, technical rescue, swift water rescue; structural collapse; high/low angle; and ice rescue. Additionally, the Greeley Fire Department operates an innovative Community Paramedic and Mobile Integrated Health Program (Squad 101) that engages individuals in the community who are considered vulnerable within the population; and require assistance to address non-emergent health concerns with a primary focus on reducing 911 call volume. Our MIH program is rapidly evolving with the expanding needs of the community.
