    The purpose of this Request for Proposal is for the selection of a General Contractor on behalf of EL PASO COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT d/b/a UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER OF EL PASO, (hereinafter UMC). The General Contractor will be responsible to provide general contracting construction services under a CSP process for the project identified in this Request for Proposal. The Project generally consists of the expansion of the existing East Clinic located at 1521 Joe Battle Blvd. El Paso, TX 79936, with the addition of a Rehabilitation area similar to the UMC West Clinic located at 6600 N Desert Blvd. El Paso, TX 79912. At times, construction activities, crews, and service vehicles will impact occupied clinic environments and related coordination, phasing, and infection prevention and control measures must be coordinated in advance in detail with UMC representative, as applicable.
