    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) is seeking qualified and experienced contractors to submit pricing proposals for the abatement of the roof at Barn 8, located within the stable area of Belmont Park Racetrack at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003. This request for quotation (RFQ) is part of NYRA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and compliant facilities across its properties. The scope of work will involve the proper removal and disposal of any hazardous materials present in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Contractors must demonstrate the appropriate certifications, experience, and capacity to perform the abatement work safely, efficiently, and within the designated project timeline. The term of any agreement entered into as a result of this RFQ will be until the successful completion of work to NYRA's satisfaction. Mandatory Site Visit or Pre-bid Meeting to be held on Tuesday July 29, 2025, 11AM EST at Belmont Park Racetrack located at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY *enter at Gate 5. Only those bidders who attend the site visit/pre-bid meeting will be eligible to bid. NYRA reserves the right to alter quantity in its sole discretion. Proposals will be received by the Procurement Operations Supervisor at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd, Suite 1, Ozone Park, NY 11417, no later than 2 PM, prevailing time, on August 15th. Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are available and can be downloaded from the Empire State Purchasing Group Website: https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/nyra Bids will be accepted electronically; prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/nyra (Empire State Purchasing Group). In addition, manual bids will be accepted at the above-referenced address. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to submit their bids on time.
