Accreditation Consultant

The City of Homestead Police Department seeks a qualified Accreditation Consultant to provide expert guidance and technical support in achieving and maintaining compliance with recognized law enforcement accreditation standards. The consultant will assist in preparing the department for both initial and reaccreditation assessments by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA).

The selected consultant will work closely with command staff, accreditation managers, and assigned personnel to review current policies, procedures, and operational practices to ensure alignment with accreditation standards. Responsibilities include conducting gap analyses, providing training and mentoring for internal staff, developing required documentation and proofs of compliance, and guiding the department through mock assessments and final on-site evaluations.
