    Description

    The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (the District) invites you to submit a bid for purchase of three (3) new Four-Wheel Drive, full -size, pickup trucks. These vehicles will be used primarily by Operations and Maintenance staff on both paved and unpaved roads throughout District parklands. Specifications are attached and any deviations from the specifications should be clearly entered on the Bid Form. Submit your Bid on the enclosed Bid Form no later than 11:00 am – Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Bids must be uploaded on the District's online procurement site, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/mprpdhese vehicles will be used primarily by Operations and Maintenance staff on both paved and unpaved roads throughout District parklands. Specifications are attached and any deviations from the specifications should be clearly entered on the Bid Form.

     

    Bidders are required to state the maximum time necessary to deliver the pickup trucks to the District on the Bid Form, delivering no later than June 30, 2026. If the trucks are not delivered within the time stated on the Bid Form, the District may terminate the purchase of the trucks by giving written notice. The bid will not be responsible for any time delays caused by circumstances, which are reasonably beyond the bidder’s control. Complete instructions and conditions are contained in the enclosed “Information for Bidders."

     

    The trucks will be delivered to the District completely assembled, prepared and ready to operate with all equipment cataloged as standard by the manufacturer and included in the total Bid price. The District is exempt from DMV fees, but local sales tax is applicable.
