The selected firm will provide preconstruction and construction phase services to support the successful planning, design, and construction of this critical public safety project. The method to be used to select the CMAR is the one-step process as detailed in Chapter 2269 of the Government Code. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the Cost of the Work plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The City of Irving is concurrently soliciting the services of an architectural firm responsible for Design Development. The selected CMAR is to assist the City and its selected architectural team with the completion of the design process, materials/systems evaluation and selection, construction documents, cost estimating, project scheduling, subcontractor bidding, construction, and project closeout. Selection will be in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code §2269.251. Any questions or request for clarification should be submitted under the questions tab in this online solicitation. The responses will be posted after consultation with the appropriate department personnel. If the responses necessitate a significant change to the specification, an addendum will be issued.
