Addendum #1 issued to modify, clarify, explain, or correct the original solicitation and is hereby made part of 077T-26. The City of Irving Fire Department “IFD” is seeking bids for an annual contract to provide State Required Flow Testing and Calibration for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment. Any questions or requests for clarification should be submitted under the questions tab in this online solicitation. The responses will be posted after consultation with the appropriate department personnel. If the responses necessitate a significant change to the specifications, an addendum will be issued. The City of Irving strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. Please call the individual listed on the bid if you require assistance with this submittal. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated --- Q&A --- Q1: On line for Estimate annual flow test you have down 1 unit Are you asking how much the per pack test is or an annual cost ? A1: The flow testing and certification of the SCBA and the Hydro Testing of SCBA Cylinders is only an estimate of the number of products IFD has each year moving forward. Currently we have the 143, 6, and 22 units for IFD but that number may fluctuate from year to year.
