Invitation to Bid 2020-IFB-013 Frenchtown Playground Pavilion Repairs The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) hereby invites sealed bids from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed contractors authorized to conduct business in the U.S. Virgin Islands to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for the Frenchtown Playground Repairs Project located in Frenchtown, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The project consists of performing detailed repairs and improvements to the covered playground shelter and surrounding areas, including but not limited to removal and replacement of wood lattice and fascia boards, inspection and replacement of rafters and structural components as required, surface preparation and painting of wood and concrete elements, installation of solar-powered lighting, and installation of site furnishings including picnic tables and a chess table. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Contract Documents, applicable building codes, FEMA requirements, and all federal and territorial regulations. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 27, 2026 AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE FRENCHTOWN PLAYGROUND SITE, ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS. Award of a contract, if made, shall be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by VIHFA. Final date to submit questions: April 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. AST Submission Deadline Date: May 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. AST Bid Opening Date: May 15, 2026 at 2:15 p.m. AST Bid Opening Link: To be provided via the IonWave e-Procurement System under the Events Tab.
