Project Scope: The work (Project) includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for the Boca Raton Hidden Valley, Pump Station. The upgrades include modifications and enhancements to the building’s architecture, structural strengthening, modifications to the existing process mechanical system, and upgrades to the mechanical and electrical equipment inside the building. This project will also include miscellaneous site improvements, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and all incidentals required to complete the project in conformance with the Contract Documents. The work is located at the Hidden Valley Pump Station at 8000 North Dixie Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33487. All work shall comply with Contract Documents and permit conditions, and include all ancillary components, testing and restoration work, as necessary. The estimated budget for this bid is $7,230,000. We just bid the Boca Raton Building 62 pump station project which also had split case centrifugal pumps and the qualifications were as follows: At least one project involving original construction or rehabilitation of a pump station with a capacity of 12.0 million gallons per day that included mechanical, and electrical upgrades, having a project cost of at least $5,000,000.
